Dr Vini Olsen-Reeder (Tauranga Moana/Te Arawa) is a teacher, scholar and reviver of te reo Māori. He’s a certified translator and the creator of Mind Your Tongue!, a platform that helps everyday citizens change their language choices to speak more Māori. This Matariki, his ‘wish upon a star’ dream is for a completely multilingual Aotearoa. He has worked with RANZ on a number of kaupapa in the past, and he’s excited to rejoin the team in 2024 for these Matariki sessions!
