Your staff can now get the LCQ online
Restaurant Association members and their employees can complete the Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) online, at a member-only price of $180 + GST per employee.
Successful participants achieve:
- NZQA unit standard 4646 — Demonstrate knowledge of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and its implications for licensed premises
- NZQA unit standard 16705 — Demonstrate knowledge of host responsibility requirements as a duty manager of licensed premises
Together, these make up the LCQ — a requirement for anyone applying for a Manager’s Certificate.
The Online LCQ programme is delivered through a series of online video training modules, so your employees can complete it on the job, at a pace that works for your business. It’s available now to all Restaurant Association members and their employees.
