1 day Food Safety & Hygiene course - NZQA Unit 20666

To meet this essential requirement, the Restaurant Association offers a comprehensive one-day in-person Basic Food Safety Certification course. This course, accredited by NZQA at level 2, provides attendees with 2 credits upon successful completion. The training equips participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to maintain a safe and hygienic food business environment.
Course Objectives:
Upon completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of food contamination hazards in a food business.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of control methods to prevent contamination of food in a food business.

Upon successful completion of the Basic Food Safety Certification course, participants will achieve NZQA unit 20666, validating their competence in food safety.

Course Details:
Theory will be covered in the morning session, and the assessment will take place after a break for lunch. We have allowed until 3 pm in the schedule; however, this is just a guideline; some attendees may finish sooner, while others could take a bit longer.
