Be careful around floodwaters and do not drive through them, remember hazards and debris could lurk beneath the surface, and floodwaters may be contaminated.

If your property/business has been damaged, please take pictures for your insurance company and do not dispose of products until your insurance company has advised you to. Further advice is available from Restaurant Association partner Crombie Lockwood here.

The Restaurant Association has been in contact with local and central Government, and have kept them updated on some of the most pressing issues for our business and how they can support the recovery efforts. This discussion has included what support businesses may be able to access, including financial support through the Mayoral Assistance Fund. We will be providing our feedback on the best way to administer the Mayoral Assistance Fund and we will keep you across this as we receive more information on how to access this fund.
