FPA Employee Meetings Announced by Union

Unite have published dates of the FPA employee meetings across the country over the next 6 weeks on their website here.

These are are broken down into regions below. 

The RA acknowledges that these times are challenging for may businesses and have been in discussions with Unite to make more concessions and alternative meetings available. There are online meetings as well as in person.

All employees within the coverage of the proposed FPA are entitled under the legislation to attend one of these 2 hour paid meetings, whether they are members of a union or not.  You must allow your employees to attend, and pay them (if the meeting occurs during their work time).

Your obligation as the employer is to let the employee know about the meetings. It is the decision of the employee to attend or not.
