Provenance Social Eatery & Bar, Palmerston North’s newest and most exciting social hotspot, is looking
for a dynamic and enthusiastic Bar Manager to join our award-winning team!
As our Bar Manager, you’ll be the creative genius behind our cocktail and wine lists, crafting
new and innovative recipes to delight our guests. You’ll work closely with our General
Manager to manage the bar operations and ensure that our customers receive the exceptional
service they deserve.
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised, and passionate about creating
unforgettable experiences for our customers. You’ll need to have an LCQ and Duty Manager’s
Certificate, or be eligible to obtain them.
Here are some of the key responsibilities and requirements for this role:
Responsibilities:
- Keep the party going by managing the bar operations, including stock management,
- inventory, ordering, and costing.
- Create killer cocktails and curate an exciting wine list that our guests will love.
- Serve up excellent customer service with a smile and make sure our guests feel like VIPs.
- Train and manage our talented team of front of house staff, keeping them on their toes
- and ensuring they are knowledgeable and confident in creating cocktails and serving
- customers.
- Collaborate with our kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Keep the party legal and safe by managing compliance with all licensing and food safety
- regulations.
- Bring the fun and energy by working evening shifts, including weekends.
Requirements:
- LCQ and Duty Managers Certificate or be eligible to obtain.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- A creative and innovative mind with the ability to develop new recipes.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work evening shifts, including weekends.

by training and managing a team of talented front of house staff.
This is a full-time role with a wage equivalent of up to $60,000 per annum.
