From 26 May 2023, Westpac, along with other participating banks in New Zealand, will be processing payments every day of the year, including weekends and public holidays.
This includes most domestic electronic payments and account transfers, such as Automatic Payments, Bill Payments, Direct Credits, and Direct Debits.
These changes may impact your business operations, so it’s important you’re aware and can plan for any changes required to your business systems, processes, or interactions with customers and suppliers.
It’s important you’re aware of the day your future payments are due, to ensure funds are available to process payments on time.
