Bay Hospitality Awards nominations now open

In recognition of the Bay of Plenty’s unique hospitality scene, the Restaurant Association of New Zealand is yet again proud to present the peer-voted 2017 Bay Hospitality Awards.

The Awards recognise the outstanding hospitality professionals all making a positive impact on the local café and dining scene in the region.

From the kitchen crew to front of house, staff and business owners will vie to be the best in the region with the winners being announced and celebrated at the awards evening on Sunday, 5 November at Mills Reef Winery.

In a gala-style event, the hospitality industry – normally the ones who provide the food service – are treated to a night where they can sit back and enjoy an evening celebrating the success of the hospitality industry. For some, 2017/2018 will be a bigger celebration as we salute the finalists, and ultimately, the winners within their specialised fields as this event moves to a biennial cycle.

Nominations are now open to the industry until Sunday, 8 October. Final voting will begin on Tuesday, 11 October and winners will be revealed at the James Bond themed awards evening.
