Learn essential information on employer obligations with e-learning modules

Employment New Zealand has free e-learning modules to provide you with guidance on your responsibilities as an employer and what you can and can’t do. There are also employee modules that you can encourage your team members to go through.

The online courses cover employment basics and minimum rights and obligations over 8 modules:

  • An introduction to your employment obligations,
  • Working arrangements (employer),
  • Employment agreements (employer),
  • Pay and Wages (employer),
  • Hours of work (employer),
  • Annual Leave/Holidays (employer),
  • Other Leave (employer),
  • Resolving problems (employer).

Once you complete each module, you will be issued with a certificate that you can download. These training modules are also part of the HospoCred application process.
