Professional development for hospitality professionals

posted on

The Professional Development programme was developed in response to the industry’s desire for support in the critical area of training and education.

The Restaurant Association professional development helps hospitality businesses of all types and sizes to grow and keep skilled and knowledgeable people who deliver great service and great results. Our programmes maximise learning in short, sharp and practical sessions so your offsite time and costs are minimal.

A range of training sessions and workshops are held from March until November in Auckland, at the Restaurant Association’s training venue, taste, ground floor, 45 Normanby Road, Mt Eden, and are live streamed to allow attendees to attend from anywhere in the country. We also run regular webinars (online presentations), which can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection.

The training experts that the Restaurant Association engages with are committed to working with and developing the industry and sharing best practice. Together, we ensure that your business benefits from staff that have the knowledge and ability to drive your success. Talk to us today about how we can help you and your business.

This Professional Development Road Show has been made possible with assistance and support from the Hospitality Training Trust. The Hospitality Training Trust was set up in 2011 to advance training in the hospitality sector in New Zealand. The aim and purpose of the Trust is to advance training, develop and promote excellence, leadership, talent and knowledge, and undertaking research for the hospitality sector.
