As part of Auckland Restaurant Month, SOUL, in collaboration with American Express and the Hospitality Training Trust, are bringing critically acclaimed Los Angeles chefs Jon Shook & Vinny Dotolo to Auckland.

On Tuesday 8th August members will have the opportunity to meet Jon & Vinny when SOUL host a question and answer session at the Restaurant Association’s taste. venue (45 Normanby Road, Mt Eden), from 4pm.

This session is a unique opportunity to meet these key influencers of the Los Angeles dining scene and will give everyone an insight into Jon & Vinny’s success, what brought them to where they are now, tips and suggestions on being successful in the industry and more. You are encouraged to ask your own questions of the duo.

About Vinny Dotolo and Jon Shook
Los Angeles chefs Vinny Dotolo and Jon Shook are the co-owners of some of Los Angeles’ most beloved venues – animal, Son of a Gun, Trois Mec, Petit Trois, Jon & Vinny’s and Trois Familia. Credited with innovating the LA dining scene, their partnership began over a decade ago when they met at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale culinary school. In the Spring of 2008, Dotolo & Shook opened animal and then Son of a Gun in 2011. In 2013 they partnered with French chef, Ludo Lefebvre, and together opened the highly acclaimed Trois Mec. In April of 2015, Shook and Dotolo opened Jon & Vinny’s as their fifth restaurant. Dubbed LA’s most well-known culinary trifecta, most recently, Shook, Dotolo and Lefebvre opened Trois Familia in Silver Lake, their third collaborative restaurant together.
