Hong Kong based-ship Explorer Dream will visit New Zealand for the first time, bringing with it around 2800 passengers plus crew.
You’re invited to attend a workshop about how to maximise the value from the Chinese visitor market. The ship will visit Wellington seven times from December to March with half its passengers coming from China. With most Chinese opting to use Chinese payment platforms such as AliPay over credit cards and cash you need to be ready if you want them spending in your business.
The workshop is brought to you by WellingtonNZ, in partnership with Christchurch Airport’s South programme and the Alibaba Group. Experts from these organisations will provide an update on the China market, Chinese payment systems, what makes a great China experience, growing pre-travel sales with Fliggy online travel agent and a Q&A session.
