JOB DESCRIPTION FOR POSITION OF INDIAN CURRY/TANDOOR COOK- GREAT INDIA RESTAURANT
• Preparation and cooking of Indian food and accompaniments as per menu • Operate Tandoor oven • Marinate preparations • In house Great India curry and garam masala preparations
• Dough making for Indian breads • Pastry making • Specialist knife skills including special butcher cuts • Vertical skewer grilling • Joint responsibility with other chefs for kitchen • Provide assistance to other cooking staff • Maintenance of hygiene standards • Maintenance of health and safety in work place • Joint responsibility for efficient operation of kitchen • Any other duties that may be reasonably required from time to time as need arises
The wage would be $21.05 gross per hour.
30 hours minimum guaranteed
Work will be performed 6 days Monday thru Sunday.
Normal working hours 11am -2pm and 5pm -10pm
