About the role

An opportunity exists to join Pita Pit, a leader in the healthy quick service food sector, as a Business Coach for the Lower North Island territory.  As the regional coach you will be responsible for ensuring the franchisees under your guidance deliver the Company’s vision, service principles and standards.  This role is responsible for building strong relationships with your franchiees and their teams to assist with their store success and compliance.

This will be a part-time or contracted position for 2-3 days per week with a 6-12 months outlook to go full time.

As a Regional business coach you are the ambassador for the Pita Pit brand, the interlink between Head Office and your franchisee.  Its important you have strong communication skills, can implement the required training to franchisees and working closely to build relationships and constantly strive to improve franchisee business performance. This role requires a broad understanding of business fundamentals as it will require coaching across HR, Compliance, financial and performance metrics (eg labour and food costs), tailored to each franchisee situation.  This role will require a tailored approach to help franchisees grow their business in the community and create local area marketing plans to build a connection with local customers.

The successful candidate will require a bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in the Quick Service industry (or managing and coaching store owners in a franchise business).  The preferred candidate will have had store operations experience or proven experience in leading a team , running a retail store.  The ability to coach, influence and achieve results with a culturally diverse franchisee base is essential criteria for the success of this role. Key skills include a basic knowledge around operations, financials, performance metrics, food and safety standards, marketing and production processes.  The ability to travel and visit in person the franchisees in the region is key to the success of this role.  This role is effective June 2019 and preferable based in Wellington.
