Operations/Marketing Assistant Job Outline.

The position of the above mentioned titled will include but is not limited to the following duties and tasks:

-Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities

-Conduct market research and analyse consumer relations

-Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)

-Assist in the organising of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success

-Prepare and deliver promotional presentations

-Compose and manage online content on the company’s website and social media accounts

-Write and produce marketing literature to augment the company’s presence in the market (EDMs, fliers, etc)

-Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships Invoicing clients
Event coordination and promotion

-Maintaining existing and establishing new client and supplier relations Direct marketing and sales, cold calling and meeting with potential clients Front of House duties (minimal but highly necessary)

Skills and experience required:

-Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (excel, outlook, word etc) Articulate and well written in English

-Knowledge of social platforms and other media outlets

-Experience managing and organising small teams an asset

-Own vehicle an asset but not completely necessary

-Flexibility to accommodate events and venues as necessary
