The position:

The Restaurant Association of New Zealand is currently seeking a Membership and Assessment Coordinator.

Here is your opportunity to make a difference in the hospitality industry and work with a vibrant and exciting Association.

As a Coordinator, there are two aspects to your role. You will be responsible for the recruitment and retention of members to the Association and assistance with all membership services and events for the area Auckland South to Taupo. With this role you’ll also be responsible for the assessment of Cookery Apprentices in the upper half of the North Island.

You will work closely with industry leaders, employers and trainees.

About you:

To apply you will need to have a demonstrable passion for the hospitality industry and the industry as a whole, illustrate that you thrive on providing great service to your customers, prove you are able to self-manage, show you can achieve goals, meet targets, and demonstrate you can contribute to building membership and are strong on standards.

You will be able to demonstrate you can relate to and work with people at any level of an organization. You will also be comfortable with sales and experience in this area would be a big plus!

You will need to have a qualification in cookery and/or an impressive background in hospitality cookery training with an excellent record of practice.  An Assessor’s Qualification 4098 would be a bonus and if you do not possess this qualification the willingness to gain it is a must! The role will be based in Auckland and also involves travel to other regions.

A competitive package, including vehicle, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
