The winners of the 2007 Lewisham Awards were applauded tonight by more than six hundred of their peers at the Sky City Convention centre.

Leading the charge as The Red and White Cellar Outstanding Personality is David Hawk, owner of late night bar Suite and the iconic Crowbar. Mandy Lusk of Vivace and La Zeppa fame floated away with The Pernod Ricard Outstanding Restaurateur trophy. Mandy carved the way for tapas in the city in the early 2000’s when Vivace introduced small plates on to the menu with just enough for a taste, accompanied by a massive wine by the glass list. These days, her stamp on La Zeppa is unmistakable.
